Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks on structural and miscellaneous steel components according to project specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the full scope of welding requirements.
- Operate welding equipment and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and maintain welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct quality checks on welds to ensure they meet ISF’s high standards for durability and precision.
- Collaborate with team members, project managers, and other departments to ensure project goals are met on time.
- Adhere to all company and industry safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven experience in welding, especially in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication.
- Technical Skill: Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, stick welding) and experience with standard welding equipment.
- Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for accuracy to ensure weld quality, adherence to specifications, and compliance with safety standards.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in various positions, lift heavy materials, and handle the physical demands of welding work.
- Reliability: A dependable team player with a strong work ethic who is punctual, focused, and committed to achieving high-quality results.
