Indiana Steel Fabricating (ISF), a leader in structural and custom steel fabrication, is seeking a skilled Structural Steel/Miscellaneous Metal Estimator to join our team. With over 60 years in the industry, ISF is known for quality, precision, and innovation. We’re looking for a dedicated estimator with a strong background in both structural and miscellaneous steel projects, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to deliver accurate, competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project documents, blueprints, and plans to understand the full scope of work.
- Analyze production factors that influence project costs and timelines.
- Prepare detailed material, labor, and cost estimates to guide project budgeting.
- Create accurate labor estimates tailored to project specifications and requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors for competitive pricing.
- Manage bids from vendors and contractors, ensuring all quotes meet ISF’s standards.
- Use bid data to prepare comprehensive cost analyses for project planning.
What We’re Looking For
